Founder/Center Director
Donna
Little Kidz Preschool opened at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, inspired by a heartfelt desire to provide high-quality, nurturing care for children. Founded by Ms. Donna, a Durham, NC native with over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, the center offers a warm, family-oriented environment where children can learn, grow, and feel safe. Ms. Donna graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina Central University with a degree in Early Childhood Development and went on to earn two master’s degrees—one in Early Childhood and another in Business. She also served as an adjunct instructor at North Carolina Central University teaching her fellow Eagles in the Early Childhood department and worked for over 15 years at Operation Breakthrough/Headstart, supporting at-risk 3–4-year-olds.
The vision for Little Kidz Preschool blossomed when Ms. Donna's grandson was born. Recognizing the need for reliable, high-quality childcare in her community, she created a place where not only her grandson but all children could feel safe, loved, and supported. At Little Kidz Preschool, you can be rest assured that your child is in the best of hands—guided by a leader whose life’s work has been devoted to nurturing young minds and building a strong foundation for their future.
In her spare time Ms. Donna likes reading, traveling, and spending time with her very own children and grandchildren.

Little Kidz Preschool is a 3-star, state-licensed, family-oriented preschool dedicated to providing quality childcare services. We offer a fun, safe, and enriching learning environment for children aged 2-12 years. Our comprehensive programs include full-time, part-time, and drop-in care, as well as before and after-school care, track out, and summer programs. Operating during first and second shifts, we strive to accommodate the diverse needs of our community, ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn, play, and grow in a nurturing setting.
