Founder/Center Director
Donna Little, M.Ed., MPA, BSFCS
Little Kidz Preschool was born from a passion for nurturing young minds and a belief that learning should be joyful, creative, and full of discovery. Founded at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic by Ms. Donna, a proud Durham, NC native with over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, our school is a safe and welcoming place for children to explore the world around them.
The inspiration for Little Kidz Preschool came with the birth of Ms. Donna’s grandson, and the vision quickly grew into a center where every child feels loved, supported, and inspired. With a degree in Early Childhood Development (Magna Cum Laude) from North Carolina Central University, two master’s degrees, over 20 years with Operation Breakthrough/Head Start, and time spent mentoring and teaching future educators at NCCU, Ms. Donna has dedicated her life to creating spaces where children thrive.
At Little Kidz Preschool, we follow a creative curriculum that blends play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. We believe children learn best when they feel safe, happy, and encouraged to follow their curiosity. From art and music to storytelling and imaginative play, our days are filled with opportunities for children to express themselves and grow at their own pace.

Little Kidz Preschool is a 3-star, state-licensed, family-oriented preschool dedicated to providing quality childcare services. We offer a fun, safe, and enriching learning environment for children aged 2-12 years. Our comprehensive programs include full-time, part-time, and drop-in care, as well as before and after-school care, track out, and summer programs. Operating during first and second shifts, we strive to accommodate the diverse needs of our community, ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn, play, and grow in a nurturing setting.
